The main focus of this blog will be the following:

Self-help, because we have the ability to change and since we can change, we may as well change for the better.

Internet based business, because an internet based business is something people can do from home, and on a laptop while they’re traveling… it can be done anywhere in the world, as long as you have a good internet connection. And it provides freedom – lots of freedom! There are numerous ways to approach an internet business these days, so there is a lot to choose from.

Travel will be another topic covered from time to time. I love to travel and I enjoy sharing my travel experiences.

A Little About Me...
My name is Randall Monk. At the age of 71 (as I write this) I’ve been around the block a few times. I was born and raised in a small Illinois farm town, joined the U.S. Army right out of high school, and moved to Northern California… the San Francisco Bay Area after being discharged from the Army. Initially I lived in Oakland, California, where I attended a local junior college and obtained an Associate Degree, while I was learning to fly airplanes. I was planning to be a commercial pilot at the time. Instead, I became a black belt in Kenpo Karate and Danzan Ryu Jujitsu and taught martial arts for a number of years.

I remained in California for forty-two years; where I was in the mortgage business for just shy of thirty years. I moved back to Illinois in 2008 and am about to move to the Reno, Nevada area. I miss the mountains!

I’ve been involved in self-help and internet marketing for a number of years. I started studying self-improvement in the early 1970’s and started poking my toes into the internet marketing business around 2007.

Have I been successful in the internet marketing business? Marginally; however, I believe that’s about to improve and I’d like to take you on that journey with me and to do that I’ll be sharing my story and experiences as I go.

Because I have a wealth of information from my many years of being a student of self-help (and I still am a student, as well as a teacher) I’ll be sharing that information as well.

I hope you’ll consider allowing me to participate in your life in a positive manner. I love sharing what I’ve learned over the years and, being young at heart, I continue to learn and grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Til next time,

Randall Monk
